Therapy Assistant

Job Description

Therapy Assistants work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Rehabilitation Therapist and are involved in the direct care of patients. They provide therapy services according to the plan of care that has been developed under the direction of a Rehabilitation Therapist. Therapy Assistants also record patients’ progress and report the results of each treatment to the Rehabilitation Therapist.

Education & Experience

The Therapy Assistant must be a graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and have a valid and unrestricted professional license in the State.
